Suggestions for Prayer
Pray that we are able to make the most of this season of Lent: in our own private prayers and Bible readings, the Sunday services, Lent Groups, Lent Meditations and Lunches and any other opportunities for drawing us closer to Jesus. Also for God’s blessing and guidance on all who will be involved in the leading of the different groups. Pray too for those who, for whatever reason, will not be able to join us.
For people in the Linton Road area of Wetherby: Linton Road, Wharfe View, Wharfe Grove, Wharfe Grange, Oak Ridge, Shaw Barn Lane, Linton Meadows.
This week churches in Wetherby are asked to pray for: All Saints’ Spofforth & All Saints’ Kirk Deighton.

Parking at St James’ – It is one of life’s laws that there is never enough parking to go around. The Church and Centre parking is for the use of those who are worshipping, using the Church Centre or the businesses who rent spaces. It is important that there is space for those who are legitimate users of these facilities, especially those with mobility issues. Regrettably, a few people abuse our parking to shop or work in town. This means that those using the Church or Centre have difficulty parking. Shortly we shall be introducing parking monitoring. An external firm will issue fines to those who are reported as abusing our parking. Legitimate users of the car park have nothing to fear. If anyone has any queries, please do have a word with me. Brendan
