Suggestions for Prayer
Pray for a decrease in terrorism activities both in the UK and other parts of the world. For those who have suffered as a result of these attacks and that they may be healed of any mental or physical wounds they may have received and have the courage to face the future.

Do you have a child or young person that attends our children’s and young people’s groups? Please ensure you have recently completed a consent form for your child/young person and handed it to Sarah. If you are unsure, please contact me sarahsharp.stjames@gmail.com or 07500 262306 (Sun-Thurs). Thank you. Sarah Sharp, Youth & Community Outreach Worker.
Lent Lectures – St James’ & Wetherby Methodist Church present Faith in Film, two stand alone lectures given by the Rev’d Stephen Brown, Church Times Film Critic, on Mondays 18 and 25 March at 7.30pm at Bank Street Methodist Church. They will be good! All are very welcome. Brendan

Riding Lights Theatre Company present their acclaimed Passion Play ‘The Narrow Road’ - Co-hosted by St James’ Church and Wetherby Methodist Church on Friday 12 April at 7.30pm at St James Church.  Cost:  Adults £8.00 Under 18’s free.  Tickets are available from the Parish Office 583074, Val Lumsden 07984 074710 or 01937 584760 and Jean Heaton 07866 366314.
Parking at St James’ – It is one of life’s laws that there is never enough parking to go around. The Church and Centre parking is for the use of those who are worshipping, using the Church Centre or the businesses who rent spaces. It is important that there is space for those who are legitimate users of these facilities, especially those with mobility issues. Regrettably, a few people abuse our parking to shop or work in town. This means that those using the Church or Centre have difficulty parking. Shortly we shall be introducing parking monitoring. An external firm will issue fines to those who are reported as abusing our parking. Legitimate users of the car park have nothing to fear. If anyone has any queries, please do have a word with me. Brendan
The St James’ Email Prayer Chain – for email prayer chain requests, please email Rosie Rooke mail@rosierooke.plus.com or telephone 01937 580673
