Coronavirus COVID-19

During the Coronavirus outbreak, St James’ will follow the advice given by the Church of England. We are receiving regular updates from the CofE to ensure that we have the latest guidance to inform our actions.

Welcome News

Churches are able to open for Public Worship. Far from it being business as usual,  restrictions apply and there are precautions which we must adhere to so our building is COVID secure. Guidance has been published to ensure this is done safely and in line with current social distancing guidelines. It covers such things as: displaying notices to remind visitors of hygiene and social distancing measures, providing hand sanitising facilities, marking places where people can sit and cleaning the church regularly. For details of all our services and links to our Facebook and YouTube pages and Zoom please see our Daily & Sunday Services page.

Our worship of God and our care for each other continue.
